ABOUT THE WCT
The World Cup Taiwan is a soccer tournament, gastronomic and cultural festival that has as its main objective to promote the development of soccer in Asia, unite Taiwan with the global community through sports, and promote cultural diversity among the residents of Taiwan.
The event will have the participation of male and female soccer teams and has the support of the Taiwanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, different Embassies, Representative Offices, and many other supporters inside and outside Taiwan.

To promote football soccer among the Taiwanese and foreign communities in Taiwan through sportsmanship and cultural interaction.
OUR VISION
To become the biggest international soccer tournament in Taiwan and use it as a platform to increase the popularity of football soccer in Taiwan and the rest of Asia.

RAMOS
Fernando Ramos is a Taiwanese advocate, a journalist, and a lawyer. He is also the main organizer of the “World Cup Taiwan”. He hopes that this game will make foreigners in Taiwan feel “the warmth of home”. Six years ago, Fernando came to Taiwan to study for a master's degree through a TaiwanICDF scholarship. He currently works for Solomon Technology Corporation. Fernando has served as an advisor for the Honduran Association in Taiwan and has devoted himself to helping different NGOs focused on education.

Chiayo Kuo is the founder of the TDDA, an NGO dedicated to participatory public diplomacy that has carried out several multinational projects to enhance Taiwan’s community actions across three continents in Kosovo, Vietnam, Norway, and Tuvalu. After 2+ years since its establishment, the TDDA has been covered in a cumulative 200+ domestic and overseas media stories, attracting youths and undergraduates interested in contributing to Taiwanese diplomacy.

Max Shi is the head of the Taiwan Football Development Association (TFDA), this NGO was established to fulfill the purpose of helping football players, fans, and people in Taiwan. The TFDA has as its objective to increase people’s interest and understanding of football through events and matches. As part of their football promotion strategy, they have invited prestigious figures from all industries to increase their knowledge about football in Taiwan.
