Social Responsbility
The World Cup Taiwan works with international and local organizations that share our values and are committed to promoting sports and improving the lives of people in need.
Enhancing the Taiwan-Central America connection through sports scholarships
For this year’s event we will be collaborating with Elías Argueta, a Honduran footballer that plays in the Taiwan Football Premier League, on an educational program that will benefit both Taiwanese sports development and Honduran young athletes.
The aim of this project is to bring mutual benefits to both Taiwan and Central America by encouraging Taiwanese universities to provide sports scholarships for talented students like Elías, giving them an opportunity to pursue a career and play football in Taiwan.

Taiwan-IN Sports Development Charity Project
Since 2021, the World Cup Taiwan has been part of the Taiwan-IN charity project. With the aim of helping sports organizations gather funds to achieve their mission, this project brings together different institutions dedicated to soccer, children's gymnastics, baseball, softball for children with disabilities, and gender equality in sports. The funds are devoted to local sports development, international participation, and the promotion of Taiwan. For every donation above 500 NTD, donors will receive a polo shirt as a reward.
Hurricanes ETA and IOTA donation
With the funds obtained in the 2020 event, the World Cup Taiwan collaborated with the Honduran Association in Taiwan and the Association of Students Graduated in Taiwan to coordinate the donation of food, personal protection equipment, and other necessary supplies to Honduran communities affected by the hurricanes that desolated several parts of the country at the end of that same year.

Donation to Educate2Envision
In 2019, the World Cup Taiwan made a donation to "Educate2Envision" a US-based NGO which has assisted in the establishment of high schools in remote areas of Honduras. This organization has helped more than 330 students from low-income families to complete their studies. The funds were delivered in early 2020 and were used to provide 16 students with scholarships to help them cover their tuition fees for that academic year.
