he Taiwan World Cup, formerly known as Copa América Taiwan, is celebrating its eighth edition since it was first held in 2014. Thanks to the amazing growth of the tournament, more and more countries have shown their interest in participating. . This led its organizer, Honduran Juan Fernando Herrera Ramos, to decide that it was time to change the name to reflect the inclusive nature of the event and the nationalities of the participating countries from Asia, Europe, Africa and the Americas.
